Fairness claims are worth examining carefully. Online poker relies on software, random number generation, account systems, and operational controls. A certificate or technical feature may offer evidence, but it does not prove every part of a service is fair or guarantee future outcomes.
Understand random number generation
A random number generator (RNG) is intended to produce unpredictable results. Look for a named testing organization, the scope of its review, the games and systems covered, and the date of the latest report. A logo without a linked report provides little detail.
Know what “provably fair” can show
Some systems let users check cryptographic commitments for particular events. Read the verification method and test what it actually covers: a specific shuffle, a game round, or another process. It may not assess account security, collusion controls, withdrawals, or the operator’s overall conduct.
Check independent evidence
Review the regulator and license scope, independent audit reports, complaint process, and clear terms for voided hands or service interruptions. Note whether evidence is current and applies to the exact product you intend to use. Our online poker evaluation checklist explains additional checks.
Make decisions within your limits
No verification method removes variance or makes a winning result predictable. Choose services only where permitted, avoid relying on promotional claims alone, and never stake money you cannot afford to lose.
For adults only. Poker carries financial risk. Set limits and stop when you reach them.
